Project 47 - Twilight

In this project I had to shot photos with the sun below the horizon, before it rises, or after it sets.
I had to wait a lot of time to do this project as all days the clouds cover the sun while rising or setting.
Then one day the clouds decided to give a little space to the sun.

6:18pm

The sun is just behind the clouds, close to the horizon making the sky in an orange colour and the chimney as silhouette.

6:21pm

The sun is in the space between the clouds and the horizon and the contrast is stronger.

6:27pm

Clouds start to approach making the colour start to fade

6:29pm

The clouds moving forward so I have decided to move the camera right where the clouds didn't get.

6:29pm

Sun is in the gap, making an orange sun-set

6:32pm

6:32pm

The sun getting lower and the clouds fade the colours.

6:42pm

6:48pm

The red colour start to show in the bottom of the clouds. That is the colour I am waiting for.

6:53pm

6:55pm

Getting there..

6:57pm

6:58pm

6:59pm

7:01pm

and it's over....

of course the photos from 6:55pm and later are my favorite photos as we got there the beautiful red with the light-post silhouette.
I do aware that if I would wait few months to the spring I would have got much more beautiful photos but the time was ticking for handing the assignment. Few moths ago I have made a photo that I really love on the same spot. It is part of project 36, warm and cold colours:
