Project 43: through the day

In this project I was asked to take a photo of the same scene through the day. A sunny day was hard to find so made this project over few days. You will notice that it's not a accurate hour between two photos but I think that I mange to get the point of the project.


7:30am, 8:30am, 9:30am


10:30am, noon, 1:30pm


2:30pm, 5:30pm, 6:30pm


7:00pm, 7:30pm


When we come to look on this photos, we have 3 main colours we can analyze: the red bricks, the green leafs and the gray gate. The most obvious thing is that the brightest photos are in the middle of the day when the sun is up high in the sky. The brightest is the 2:30pm. It brings very strong colours and a very strong contrast to the photo. In the early morning and evening the colours will be warmer and the contrast between them will be less, and I believe that they show much more the real colour.
If I had to chose a photo that represent for me the real colour of the scene, I will chose the 9:30am photo.
