Project 4 -shutter speeds

For this project I was asked to explore the different shutter speeds on a moving object.

First I asked my son to ride a bicycle in front of me. But after 2 minutes the Neighbors came and he did ride the bicycle but not in front of me. So I had to chose subject that is more reliable and I went for Tomas. the trunk-engine that is known for his reliability.

For the high shutter speeds I had to add flash to capture the train as frozen as possible.
Here are the photos:

1/200, F/4.5, with flash:

1/125, F/4.5:

I wanted to take 1 photo with no flash to demonstrate
why I did use it in the other 2 photos

1/100, F/4.5, with flash:

1/60, F/4.5:

1/40, F/4.5:

1/25, F/5.6:

1/10, F/9.1:

1/5. F/13:

1/3, F/22:

As the subject is kind of...boring subject I like the last photo the most as it seems like a kind of ufo...
