Project 5 - panning with differrent shutter speed

In this project I was asked to take the same photos as project 4 but this time I had to follow the subject with my camera. This technique called 'Panning'. I continued with the same subject as project 4 but this time I tried to add a colorful back ground to make a nice blur.

Here are the photos:

I love the second photo with this blur background the best. It bring happiness to the photo.

Panning for me always remind me of sports event and cars adds. I love the way the colours in the background smears one over the other and emphasize the subject. Here is a photo I took in the panning technique:

Project 4 -shutter speeds

For this project I was asked to explore the different shutter speeds on a moving object.

First I asked my son to ride a bicycle in front of me. But after 2 minutes the Neighbors came and he did ride the bicycle but not in front of me. So I had to chose subject that is more reliable and I went for Tomas. the trunk-engine that is known for his reliability.

For the high shutter speeds I had to add flash to capture the train as frozen as possible.
Here are the photos:

I wanted to take 1 photo with no flash to demonstrate
why I did use it in the other 2 photos

As the subject is kind of...boring subject I like the last photo the most as it seems like a kind of ufo...
